The Cave Entrance is a room in Club Penguin 3D. It contained Richard for a long period of time until the date he was removed, May 6, 2019. It currently contains a pond and an entrance to the Mysterious Labyrinth.
The cave entrance was originally added the same date that the Mine Shack was added - October 17, 2018. At that time it looked like the image labeled "Original Design" below. It's sole purpose was being a mysterious cave with a few Hard Hats in it, acting as somewhat of a decoration object.
From the opening date until the Halloween Party 2018 the room stayed the same, but on this date Richard was removed from the room. He was added back at the end of the Halloween Party.
On update 18.104.22.168 on May 6, 2019, Richard was permanently removed from the Cave Entrance. During that update the snow cave was removed and the room was revamped, resulting in a new rock wall and a mysterious cave entrance that was not accessible.
On February 23, 2020, version 22.214.171.124 released. With this update, the cave in the rock wall became accessible and began leading to the Mysterious Labyrinth.
- Richard originated in this room, being left over as a placeholder penguin.
- He was removed during the Halloween Party 2018, then added back after the party, then removed again on May 6, 2019.
- The cave entrance in the original room design was in the same general location that the Mysterious Labyrinth is currently since before the beta.
